💰 Payment

• • A 50% deposit is required to begin work after the initial sketch is approved. This secures your slot in my schedule and allows me to start the commission.
• • The remaining balance must be paid before the final artwork is delivered.
• • Once work has started, deposits are non-refundable, as this time and effort cannot be recovered.
• • If the buyer cancels after work has begun, the deposit will be kept to compensate for completed progress.
• • If the artist needs to cancel for any reason, a partial or full refund will be issued depending on the stage of completion.
• • Chargebacks are not allowed. Filing a chargeback will result in loss of usage rights to the artwork and may lead to further action.

✏️ Revisions

• • You may request up to three revisions during the sketch stage to adjust details and ensure the concept is right.
• • Small adjustments such as color tweaks or minor expression changes are welcome during the appropriate stages.
• • Once the sketch is approved, no further changes will be made unless the issue is due to an error on my part. Any mistakes I make will always be corrected at no extra cost.
• • Major redesigns or complete changes after approval may require an additional fee.

⏰ Delivery & Turnaround

• • Commissions may take up to a week or month/months depending on complexity, queue size, health, school, or personal matters.
• • An estimated turnaround time will be provided, and I will keep you updated if delays occur.
• • Final digital files are delivered via Dropbox, Google Drive, or your provided email, which will remain available for two weeks unless otherwise requested. Please download your files within that time.
• • Clear references for poses, colors, outfits, and character details are required to ensure the best possible result.

💬 Communication

Clear communication helps everything run smoothly. If no response is received within one week, I will proceed with the commission based on the latest approved details.

If the artwork is finished and the client becomes unresponsive, I will send a final reminder. If there is still no response after two weeks, the commission will be considered fulfilled. Any payments made are non-refundable.

The final artwork will be released once the remaining balance is paid. Unclaimed commissions will be archived.

📜 Usage & Licensing

🔗 Credit & Sharing

• • Credit must be given when posting the artwork publicly through tagging, labeling, or verbal acknowledgment. One initial credit per platform is sufficient.
• • You may not remove signatures or watermarks.
• • If you prefer the artwork not to be posted publicly, please communicate this clearly before work begins.
• • Unless requested otherwise, I may share completed commissions for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes.

©️ Copyright & Intellectual Property

• • All artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist. You are purchasing usage rights, not ownership.
• • AI and NFT use is strictly prohibited. My work may not be used in AI datasets, engines, generators, or minted as NFTs under any circumstances.
• Unauthorized commercial use is not allowed and may result in further action.

🎨 Artist Rights

• • I reserve the right to decline commissions that fall outside my skill set or involve subjects I am not comfortable drawing.
• • I may use commissioned artwork to promote my services, post on social media, display in my portfolio, or create prints for fanart commissions.

✅ Commissioner Rights & Restrictions

You may:

• • Use the artwork for personal purposes only unless commercial rights are purchased.
• • Print the artwork for yourself.
• • Post it on social media with proper credit to @Abortius.

You may not:

• • Use the artwork commercially without permission.
• • Claim the artwork as your own or fail to credit the artist.
• • Remove signatures or watermarks.
• • Resell, redistribute, or modify the artwork without consent.
• • Use personal use artwork for merch, streaming, or commercial projects.

🚫 Right to Refusal

• • The buyer may decline a commission before completion, but any payments made are non-refundable once work has started.
• • The artist reserves the right to refuse or cancel a commission at any time. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, a partial refund will be issued based on progress.

✖️ Blacklist Policy

Repeated or serious violations of these terms may result in refusal of future commissions. In severe cases, evidence may be shared with other artists to protect the community.

📝 Final Agreement

Once the deposit is paid, all terms above are considered accepted and binding. This ensures clarity, fairness, and a smooth experience for both the artist and the client.
